Film Review:

As a fan of the game “Assassin’s Creed” this film is an absolute thrill! With Micheal Fassbender playing as Cal Lynch who is the bloodline of Aguilar the Assassin. Fassbender always a great actor did well both as Cal and Aguilar. Taking note that of the other A-list cast with Marion Cotilliard playing as Sophia the daughter of Dr. Rikkin played by Jeremy Irons. Both of them are scientists working on a project to eradicate violence by tracing the bloodlines of criminals and revisiting them. However, Rikkin has only used this as his excuse to find Eden’s apple (free will) and to use it against humanity.

With the help of the other Assassin’s bloodlines and Cal,they succeed in recovering the apple from the hands of the Templars. The CGI is not as refined as it should be however, director Justin Kurzel did well with sticking to the game’s theme and vision-one thing that is very important to this game’s fans.

The downside was the occasional odd scenes that made most of the characters look dull and a waste of talent because of the mediocre script. But with the consideration of this film that is based on a game, it did pretty well in comparison to others such as Street Fighter (1994) and Blood Rayne (2005).

So, for Assassin’s Creed fans out there, this is something you should see and will definitely enjoy!
