Birth Time is an artistic and highly exceptional documentary of women going through traumatic childbearing experiences.  It tells the story of the evolution of childbirth from intimately private practice to a highly medicalised routine. Unfortunately, this change has caused a significant increase in stressful delivery, leaving mothers the feeling of isolation and hopelessness.

To witness this incredible miracle through beautiful cinematography was a unique and memorable experience—an elegant recording of women having real experiences. To see life happening was both heartbreaking and magnificent—a sense of hope.
