The Nice Guys ★★★★☆

Outrageously entertaining! This film which was set up in the 70′s which I think is such a great element in creating this masterpiece! It reminds me of writer/director Shane Black’s previous film “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” which is a buddy- style comedy film. The casting is amazing as well, actors Russell Crowe, Ryan Gosling and a big debut for Angourie Rice who’s acting was brilliant!

The movie is about two very different kinds of detectives who then became partners in investigating the alleged suicide of a famous porn star (how interesting). And so, as the story goes, one thing happens after another until there’s just this massive ball of chaotic mess of a cases that links to a certain US official, which maybe related to this very important missing girl.

Shane Black did a really a good job maintaining his unpredictability and high level of hilarity when it comes to his films. He does make you feel like everything is going wrong and that anxiety level and adrenaline just keeps building up.

That is probably what I liked about this movie. There’s just no turning back. You get caught up inside and it’s addicting! You get the luxury of being high without actually taking drugs. An extremely fun spin, I reckon!
